A series of lumen prints on expired black & white photographic paper.

Lumen is borrowed from Latin and means literally ‘light’ or “an opening". It’s a magical process that uses black and white photographic paper to create ethereal, delicate, images in an array of colours - browns, pinks, violets, and golden yellows. Light is used to create the images but also seems to emanate from them.
